Privacy Policy

• Account details: your email address, and whether it's confirmed.
• Certificant details: the full name and BACB certification number you enter for your certificates. You provide these; we don't verify them against the BACB register.
• Purchase records: which courses you bought, when, the amount, and the Stripe identifiers for the transaction.
• Continuing education records: how far through each course you have watched, your knowledge-check attempts and scores, and the certificates issued to you.
• Technical data: ordinary server and error logs, which may include IP address, browser type, and the pages you requested.

We do not sell personal information, and we don't run advertising or third-party tracking on this site.

To give you access to what you bought, to issue and reissue certificates, to meet our record-keeping obligations as a BACB ACE Provider, to send transactional email (receipts, refund notices, certificates, and account email such as sign-in links), and to keep the service working and secure.

Watch progress and knowledge-check attempts exist because the BACB requires an ACE provider to verify attendance and comprehension before issuing credit. They are not used to profile you or for marketing.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Card numbers are entered on Stripe's own checkout page and never reach our servers. We receive and store only what we need to reconcile a purchase: the amount, status, and Stripe's identifiers for the session, payment, and any refund. Stripe handles that data under its own privacy policy.

We rely on a small number of outside vendors to run the service. They fall into these categories: payment processing, video hosting and delivery, transactional email delivery, application and database hosting, and error monitoring.

Each vendor receives only the data it needs for that purpose, handles it under its own privacy terms, and is not permitted to use it for its own purposes. Card details go only to our payment processor, as described in section 3. We do not share your information with anyone else except where the law requires it.

We set cookies only to keep you signed in and to protect forms against cross-site request forgery. There are no advertising or analytics cookies. Your light/dark theme preference is stored in your browser's local storage and never sent to us. Blocking the session cookie will prevent you from signing in.

Continuing education records (completions, watch progress, knowledge-check attempts, and issued certificates) are retained for seven years, the record retention period we are required to observe as a BACB ACE Provider.

Account and purchase records are kept while your account is open and afterwards for as long as needed for accounting, tax, and dispute-resolution purposes.

You can view and correct your certificant name and BACB number at any time on your certificates page, and change your email address and password in your account settings.

To request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account, email support@unifiedvisions.com. Please note that we cannot delete continuing education records inside the seven-year retention window described in section 6. Those are records we are obliged to be able to produce. We will tell you what can and cannot be removed when you ask.

Traffic to the site is encrypted in transit, passwords are stored hashed, and course video is served through short-lived signed links rather than public URLs. No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach affects your personal information we will notify you as required by law.
