Terms of Service

The agreement between you and Unified Visions LLC when you buy and watch a course on this site.

Draft, pending legal review.

This document describes how the service currently works, but it has not yet been reviewed by counsel and is not in force. It will be finalized before launch.

1. Accounts

You need an account to buy or watch a course. You must be at least 18 years old and provide an email address you control. You're responsible for what happens under your account, including keeping your login to yourself.

Accounts are for one person. We may suspend or close an account that is shared, resold, or used to redistribute course content.

2. Purchases and access

Courses are sold individually as one-time purchases. Prices are shown on each course page and charged in US dollars. Payment is processed by Stripe; we do not receive or store your card details.

A completed purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to stream that course for your own continuing education. It does not transfer ownership of the content or any right to copy, download, publicly show, or redistribute it.

There is no expiry date on a purchase. Access continues for as long as you hold an account in good standing and the course remains available on the site (see section 6).

3. Continuing education and certificates

Unified Visions LLC is a BACB Approved Continuing Education (ACE) Provider, number OP-25-12275. Courses carrying continuing education credit state their CEU values on the course page and are delivered online and asynchronously.

A certificate of completion is issued only when you have (a) watched at least 95% of the course, and (b) scored at least 80% on its knowledge check, where the course carries CEUs. Progress is credited against actual playback. Knowledge checks are limited to five scored attempts per course in any rolling 24-hour period.

The certificant name and BACB certification number printed on your certificate are supplied by you and are not independently verified. You are responsible for their accuracy and for reporting your CEUs to the BACB. We retain completion and knowledge-check records for seven years.

An issued certificate is never withdrawn. Once we have issued a certificate to you, it remains valid, including if the related purchase is later refunded, if your access ends, or if the course is removed from the site.

4. Refunds

If a course was misdescribed, wouldn't play, or was bought in error, contact support@unifiedvisions.com and we will refund the purchase in full to the original payment method. We issue full refunds only; we do not offer partial refunds.

A course is no longer refundable once a certificate of completion has been issued for it. Issuance means the course was completed and the credential has been delivered, and because we never withdraw an issued certificate (section 3), the sale is final at that point.

Where a refund is issued, your access to that course ends and it is removed from your library. Any certificate already issued to you is unaffected.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • share your account credentials, or let anyone else watch under your purchase;
  • download, record, screen-capture, re-host, or redistribute course video or materials;
  • circumvent or interfere with playback protection, progress tracking, or knowledge checks, including by submitting fabricated progress or automating attempts;
  • share knowledge-check questions or answers with other learners;
  • misrepresent your identity or BACB certification number in order to obtain a certificate.

These aren't just contract terms. Knowledge-check integrity and accurate attendance records are conditions of our ACE approval. We may revoke access without refund where they are breached.

6. Course content and availability

Course content is provided for professional education. It is not clinical, legal, or medical advice, and it does not create a professional relationship between you and any instructor.

We may add, update, or withdraw courses. If we withdraw a course you have bought, we will make a reasonable effort to give you notice; any certificate you have already earned for it remains valid. We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

7. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind beyond those that cannot be excluded by law. We do not warrant that any course will meet a particular certification requirement other than the CEU values stated on the course page.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid for the course giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost opportunity.

8. Changes and termination

We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted here with a revised effective date, and continuing to use the service after that date means you accept them. Changes do not apply retroactively to purchases already made.

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms; where we do so for a breach of section 5, no refund is due.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Unified Visions LLC is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The governing state and venue will be stated here in the final version.
